Curriculum
Building Student Success BC Curriculum
I strongly encourage all families to visit the Building Student Success website. This site includes all of the competencies and content that is required from grades K-12. The curriculum section is divided into 2 sections: Competencies and Content. Competencies are the skills and processes that students use to show their learning. Content is the subject material that will be covered. While students will be using all of the competencies throughout the school year, the content is flexible in that it offers students a choice.
Advisory
Advisory occurs twice a day. The first advisory is for attendance and preparing for the day. The second advisory is 20 minutes which will include a variety of activities that focus on leadership, goal setting, critical thinking, and communicating.
